These are my favorite species. I thought I'd make a few adopts for them.

General: Undertow are aquatic humanoids that often lurk near the shore, they can be found in very big lakes (rarely) or oceans. When the weather gets fierce and the waters get treacherous is when they hunt, pulling people under the water and drowning them before devouring 'em. This creature usually stays in one 'territory' but some may be nomadic also feeding on other marine life. Females live about 600 years, males about 400 years.  
Social: The Undertow are usually solitary and often prefer to be alone. However, they may disguise themselves as a human and mingle on the beach out of boredom when the water is calm. Because of their solitary nature new Undertow are rarely born. Females tend to be more social than males, who can be quite aggressive in comparison.
